Terms of Service

By accessing or using L1fe.news, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

L1fe.news ingests public news sources, clusters related coverage, summarizes common facts, compares framings, displays source receipts, and provides public and paid access surfaces. Story pages may change as additional sources, corrections, and receipts are processed.

• Account accuracy. You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it current.
• Security. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, tokens, API keys, and devices used to access the service.
• Authorized use. You may not share paid account credentials or use another person's account without permission.
• Suspicious activity. We may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect users, the service, source systems, or payment integrity.

Paid plans, API access, and usage-based features may be billed through L1fe account and Garden billing rails. Prices, limits, included credits, overages, and renewal periods are shown at checkout or in the applicable plan description. Unless a checkout flow says otherwise, subscriptions renew until canceled.

You are responsible for taxes, usage charges, and payment failures associated with your account. We may change prices or plan limits prospectively with notice where required.

• No abuse. Do not scrape in ways that degrade the service, bypass rate limits, attack infrastructure, or interfere with other users.
• No unlawful use. Do not use L1fe.news to violate law, infringe rights, harass people, commit fraud, distribute malware, or evade sanctions.
• No misrepresentation. Do not present L1fe.news output as your own original reporting without attribution, and do not imply endorsement where none exists.
• Respect sources. Publisher links, quotes, and source receipts remain subject to publisher rights, fair use, and applicable law.

API and MCP access are provided for applications, analysts, and agent-native workflows. You must comply with rate limits, authentication requirements, attribution rules, and any plan-specific restrictions. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke access for abusive, unsafe, fraudulent, or excessive usage.

L1fe.news owns the site design, software, source registry metadata we create, story organization, summaries, analysis, generated editorial assets, and other original platform materials. Publishers and other third parties retain rights in their own articles, images, names, marks, and materials.

Public story excerpts and receipts are presented for news discovery, comparison, commentary, research, and attribution. When linking, quoting, or building on L1fe.news, preserve attribution and links to the original source coverage.

L1fe.news is an editorial, research, and information service. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, investment, tax, safety, or other professional services. Do not rely on the service as a substitute for qualified professional judgment.

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We work to improve accuracy, source coverage, uptime, and receipt quality, but news moves quickly and public sources may be incomplete, disputed, unavailable, or later corrected. We do not guarantee that any story, summary, source rating, bias label, coverage score, alert, API response, or tool result is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, L1fe Labs, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless L1fe Labs, Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access when necessary to enforce these terms, protect the service, prevent harm, comply with law, or manage payment failures. We may update these terms as the service changes; continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
